Computers are fantastic tools for designers, but there’s nothing like the speed and simplicity of a piece of paper and a pencil when it comes to coming up with creative ideas.
The most important parts of any design are the ideas that lie behind it. Before you even touch a computer, you should sit down with a pad and sketch your ideas.

Sketching helps you clarify and refine your thoughts and allows you to show them to other people (like your boss) for feedback.
